Sales Representative – Bilingual Preferred  

(Burmese, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Thai Preferred) 

Job Summary:

Truong Enterprises is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This individual will serve as a brand ambassador, independently managing a portfolio of accounts while driving sales growth through both existing customers and new business acquisition. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact in the ethnic food distribution industry. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Account Management & Business Development 

    • Manage and expand sales within an assigned portfolio of accounts. 

    • Drive business growth by increasing sales in existing accounts and acquiring new customers. 

    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve customer-specific sales targets. 

    • Introduce new product offerings, negotiate space expansion, and present promotional opportunities. 

  • Sales Performance & Market Analysis 

    • Monitor and analyze account performance using Microsoft Power BI sales reporting tools. 

    • Submit detailed Customer Contact Reports after client meetings. 

    • Stay informed on market conditions, competitive landscape, and industry trends. 

  • Customer Service & Relationship Management 

    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt and professional communication. 

    • Accurately place orders and respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours. 

    • Collaborate effectively with operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment. 

    • Represent Truong Enterprises at customer events, trade shows, and industry functions. 

  • Additional Responsibilities 

    • Support special projects and other duties as required by the business. 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in outside sales or account management. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships. 

  • Confident, assertive, and eager to learn, with a passion for sales and business development. 

  • A goal-oriented team player with a competitive mindset and a drive for success. 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel out-of-state as needed. 

  • Bilingual proficiency in Burmese, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Thai is strongly preferred. 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required.
